We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager who will lead all aspects of smooth laboratory operation.

Major duties and responsibilities:

• Purchasing reagent and other supplies.
• General laboratory stockpile of supplies inventory management
• Strain stockpile management.
• Equipment maintenance .
• Implementing and upholding laboratory safety.
• Build or introduce an ERP system to manage lab inventory including implementation of a new inventory tracking system.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure continuity of high performance workflow.
• Handle communications with lab vendors
• Manage lab tech assistance.

Qualifications:

• Sc./Ph.D. degree in life sciences with at least 2 years of work experience in the industry.
• Previous experience in Laboratory management in the Academy or Industry is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems and implementation of ERP systems – an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Python – an advantage.
